How do I identify my Apple processor?

NOTE: Your institution may be integrated with our platform in a way that would change the process for accessing your exam. If this is the case, instructions for creating accounts are usually sent directly from your institution.  

When using Mac OS, you will need to identify the correct Guardian download version.

To identify the correct download, access the “About This Mac” section on your computer.

• To open About This Mac, choose Apple menu > About This Mac.

If your Mac chip is M1, please select the Apple M1 Guardian download.

If your Mac processor is Intel, please select the Apple Intel Guardian download.
