If you have configured a proctored exam within your Learning Management system through the ProctorU Platform LTI 1.3 tool, you may find yourself needing to make a last minute update to your LMS quiz settings (such as duration, exam window, or exam name).
For Moodle and Blackboard, any changes made to your exam settings within your LMS will be synced to the ProctorU Platform LTI 1.3 tool within 24-48 hours. However, we recommend syncing the exam by using the "Sync Exam" option.
For Canvas and Brightspace, due to the nature of OAuth2 token expiration, requirements to re-authorize hourly, and permissions of the token itself, exams may not always automatically sync every 24 hours. If you've made any changes to your exam settings within the LMS, or need to make any changes (such as duration, exam window, or exam name), we strongly recommend only relying on the "Sync Exam" button outlined below.
To sync your exam settings immediately, use the steps below:
Steps for Exam Entry:
1. Update your exam within your Learning Management System.
2. Navigate to the ProctorU Platform LTI tool.
3. Click the "Proctored Exams" tab.
4. Click the gear icon next to the exam you would like to udpate.
5. Press "Sync Exam".
