Depending on your testing organization or institution’s policy, you may be taken to a payment screen once you have scheduled your exam.
For exams that require payment from a test-taker, charges must be paid with a credit or debit card at the time of scheduling. You will be prompted to enter payment information on a secure page connected to a third-party payment processor. The page is encrypted and the ProctorU Platform does not see or store any credit card data. You are required to re-enter payment information each time new charges are incurred.
• If you are not prompted for payment, you will see $0.00 as your total.
• You must click "Process Order" to finalize your reservation time.
• Your reservation will remain pending in your cart for 30 minutes, after which we will release the pending appointment to allow room for other users to schedule that time slot.
What Are On-Demand Scheduling Features & Fees
ProctorU offers on-demand scheduling features that allow test-takers to schedule an exam on an “On-Demand” basis. There are two on-demand scheduling types, which are defined below:
To avoid on-demand scheduling charges, please be sure to schedule or reschedule any online proctoring reservation more than 72 hours in advance.
Take It Soon: "Take It Soon" allows test-takers to schedule a test 24-72 hours prior to the selected test time and incurs an additional fee of $8.00 USD.
Take It Now: "Take It Now" allows test-takers to schedule a test less than 24 hours prior to the selected test time and incurs an additional fee of $12.00 USD.
Can You Bill Me Later for the Cost of My Exam?
As much as we would like to offer this feature, we cannot currently do so. If there is a fee for your exam, it must be paid in full before your appointment.
If you're taking an exam for a higher education course, many school bookstores have ProctorU Access Cards available that can be purchased in advance with financial aid funds. Contact your campus bookstore for more information.
What Should I Do if My Access Code Is Not Working?
If your access code is not working, try processing the payment on a different device or browser.
If the issue is not resolved, please reach out to your institution, instructor, organization, or exam administrator for a new access code.
