We recommend testing your equipment prior to exam day. Be sure to test the equipment you plan to use on exam day to troubleshoot any issues.
To test your computer, log into your ProctorU account and click the button that says "Test Your Equipment” or use this link test your equipment.
- Your institution may be integrated with our platform in a way that would change the process for accessing your exam. If this is the case, instructions for creating accounts are usually sent directly from your institution.
- The automated equipment check does not guarantee your equipment's functionality on exam day.
We are in the process of rolling out a new equipment test. Depending on your institution, you may see the legacy tool or the new Test It Out 2.0 experience. Below are short video demonstrations of both experiences.
