Goal:
The goal of the max no-show functionality is to detect and limit repeat offenders as it relates to candidates who repeatedly do not attend their scheduled appointments and/or do not proactively cancel their appointments which can result in additional costs to the client.
Considerations:
- This functionality is only available for non-integrated clients (meaning, clients whose candidate’s schedule directly in our platform).
- Functionality is not available on an exam iteration level at this time but must be configured at an institutional level by Meazure Learning staff.
- Of note, if a candidate maxes out all their no-show attempts for one exam, future exams cannot be scheduled until those no-shows are cleared by the client.
- Candidates will be able to launch previously scheduled appointments.
User Workflow and Enablement:
If you are interested in learning more or enabling this for your testing program, please review the steps and workflow below. To get started, please reach out to your Meazure Learning representative.
- Meazure Learning employees will complete the needed configuration to enable the max no-show policy.
- The client should provide Meazure Learning with their specific no-show policy. For example, candidates are allowed to no-show twice in a 60-day period, or the candidate is allowed 1 no-show attempt in a 30-day period (recommended).
- Once the Meazure Learning employee has completed the configuration, you’re all set.
Candidate Experience:
- If a candidate is allowed multiple no-show attempts, the following message (in yellow) will appear on their account.
- If the candidate only has one no-show attempt and/or maxes out multiple attempts based on the client’s policy, the following message (in yellow) would be displayed when a candidate is attempting to schedule another session.
- When a client would like to allow their candidate to reschedule (whether that is after additional payment and/or alternative scheduling workflows), the client would then visit the candidate’s session page to clear or Remove No Shows to allow the candidate to schedule or reschedule new or past exams. Once Remove No Shows is selected, a pop-up will appear, asking the user to confirm. Please select Yes to clear no-show attempts and allow the candidate to continue scheduling.
